Questions people ask about US stock screener
Is this US stock screener free?
Yes. Every screen, its rule and every company that passes are on this page, and the CSV download has all of them. No login.
How often do the screens update?
Every week, on fresh company figures and prices. This edition uses prices to 19 October 2026.
Why is there no US dividend screen?
We could not yet work out a current dividend yield we trust for every company: our filings data misses or disagrees for many large payers. We will add it once the yield checks out.
Does passing a screen mean a stock is good to own?
No. A screen only finds companies that meet a printed rule. Sector Alpha gives no tips, price targets or analyst ratings.
