Mansfield RS is the percentage the stock-to-NIFTY-500 price ratio sits above its own 52-week average, from weekly closes as of 1 July 2026. Streak = consecutive weeks with the reading above zero (52+ means at least a full year). An empty cell means the source reports no value for that field. High readings are dominated by small- and mid-cap stocks after sharp runs — this is a factual screen of what has already happened, not a list of what will happen next.

How to read this screen

What does it mean for a stock to beat the NIFTY 500 here?

A stock counts as beating the NIFTY 500 when its Mansfield Relative Strength reading is above zero — meaning the ratio of its price to the NIFTY 500 index sits above the 52-week average of that same ratio. It is a trailing, price-only measure of outperformance, not a forecast. As of 1 July 2026, 954 of the 1,791 stocks tracked (market cap above ₹500 crore) read above zero.

How many stocks are currently beating the NIFTY 500?

As of 1 July 2026, 954 of 1,791 tracked Indian stocks — about 53% of the universe with market cap above ₹500 crore — show Mansfield Relative Strength above zero against the NIFTY 500. The table on this page ranks the top 100 by the size of that reading, from weekly closing data.

What is Mansfield Relative Strength?

Mansfield Relative Strength, from Stan Weinstein's work, divides a stock's price by an index — here the NIFTY 500 — to get a relative-performance line, then measures how far that line sits above or below its own 52-week moving average, as a percentage. A reading of +50 means the stock-to-index ratio is 50% above its one-year norm; below zero means the stock has been lagging the index. It strips out market direction: a stock can fall and still beat a falling index.

What are Weinstein stages?

Stan Weinstein's four stages classify where a stock sits in its price cycle using the 30-week (roughly 200-day) moving average. Stage 1 is basing: price moves sideways after a decline. Stage 2 is advancing: price breaks out and holds above a rising average — historically where most of a stock's gains happen. Stage 3 is topping: the advance flattens. Stage 4 is declining: price trends below a falling average. The stage column in the table is computed from each stock's weekly price series.

How is the outperformance streak counted?

The streak is the number of consecutive weeks, counting back from 1 July 2026, in which the stock's Mansfield Relative Strength stayed above zero on weekly closing data. A streak of 52+ means the stock has outperformed the NIFTY 500 on this measure for at least a full year without a single weekly break.
